✶⋆.˚ ninja storm, ranger form ✶⋆.˚

recently, as soon as I came back home, I felt like I was immediately teleported to 2023 - when I was still living here - so I decided it was a good time to do a rewatch of Power Rangers: Ninja Storm, my comfort show as a kid, along with the Dino Thunder series.

I know it may seem that it is just a kids show, but for me, every time I do a rewatch, it teaches me new things and unlocks memories that were just living in the back of my brain.

as a kid, I really wanted to be a Power Ranger. for me, being able to have my group of friends, being able to fight the world with them, and having special powers, was the best thing in the world.

growing up I realised that I still think it is. and I realised that special powers are living within all of us: in what we love, in what we believe in, in our ability to pick ourselves up again every time we fall. 

when I think about Ninja Storm, one character always comes to my mind first: Hunter.

when I was a kid, I definitely had a crush on him, but now that I'm older, I can see that there are actually many other reasons why Hunter became my favourite character.

he is very focused on being strong and proving himself. he doesn't really trust other people and prefers to do things on his own. he is also very protective of Blake, and you can see how important their relationship is to him. he is hurt, confused, and being manipulated by someone who knows how to use his pain against him.
the story of the thunder rangers is also quite sad, as Hunter and Blake believe that the wind rangers are responsible for something terrible that happened, so they want revenge. they are angry because they think they have lost someone important because of them.

I simply love the thunder rangers and their story and how they have the best character development in my opinion.

so now I feel the need to do a rewatch again - of course...

I'd say it is my comfort show with my comfort characters since I was a kid. and the way I relate to most of them, especially to Hunter, is just something that brings me a bit of peace.

WELCOME ♡ hello hello dear readers! welcome to my blog, I am Sara and this is my first post ♡ recently, while scrolling around on tiktok and instagram, I've noticed the comeback of these kind of blogs, and it unlocked endless memories for me!! back in 2007, when I was just a kid, I used to have a blog on windows live spaces platform, and I used to spend hours and days trying to customize it and make it as glittery and colorful as possible, so for me, having again a blog which can give me the same feeling, takes me back to my childhood and makes my inner child super happy ♡ anyway, I'll tell you a little about myself: I'm 26, I'm italian, and I currently live between Poland and my hometown in Italy. I have red hair, and I've kind of made it my personality in the past 10 years, that's why "the crimson gal" - which is also a reference to the crimson ranger from Power Rangers: Ninja Storm. I'm also a nail artist, hoping to grow in this job more and more as it is the only thing my soul truly enjoys doing I'm an ambivert person, at first really shy, but after a while you will see I have a very creative and funny personality!! I love gyaru culture, fashion, I love gaming (Fortnite is my favourite, but I also play Valorant, CSGO, RDR and other games!!) and I'm also a Power Rangers enthusiast as you might have understood earlier when I mentioned the crimson ranger! I love music with all of my heart, and you can listen to some of my favourite songs from the widget in this blog I speak (so far) three languages: italian, english and polish, and I understand a bit of russian and spanish. I live with three chronic illnesses, fibromyalgia, hidradenitis suppurativa and hashimoto's. still learning how to cope with all of this during everyday life without letting it kill me.
